Built4People (B4P) is a co-programmed partnership in Horizon Europe’s Cluster 5 (Climate, Energy and Mobility). It brings together the European Commission (EC) and two leading associations (ECTP and WorldGBC Europe) with a membership base of actors in the built environment. The partners co-programme EU research and innovation funding for the built environment, ensuring it is invested in projects which will accelerate innovations towards a sustainable, people-centric transformation of Europe’s built environment sector.

In this context, the B4P Stakeholders Forum is a platform created to allow the participation of a large community of built environment experts which is not limited to B4P Partners and their members. The Forum will advise on the priorities to be addressed by the Partnership Board, in line with the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda and the Horizon Europe strategic planning.  The B4P annual Stakeholder Forum brings together innovators from across Europe to hear and discuss the latest developments from the B4P Partnership and wider research and innovation topics for the built environment in Europe.

The first edition of the Built4People Stakeholder Forum took place last year and gathered almost 300 attendees, and the organisers expect to welcome more for the upcoming session that will take place online on October 3rd from 9h15 to 13h00 CET to ensure maximum access for stakeholders across Europe.

The BIGG project has been invited to pitch during the session “Data and information aggregation for a sustainable Built Environment at 11h30 moderated by Sylvain Kubicki, from the LIST (Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology) and Anastasiya Yurchyshyna and Nerea Gómez, from ECTP (European Construction, built environment and energy efficient building Technology Platform). Oriol Escursell from ICAEN (Catalan Institute of energy) will present the BIGG project and its outcomes and will participate in an open discussion about the transformation of the construction industry thanks to data.
