In May, the scientific paper “Physics informed neural networks for control oriented thermal modeling of buildings” by Chris Develder (imec) has been published in Applied Energy, Vol. 314 (pp. 1-10).
The paper presents a novel, data-driven modeling approach using physics informed neural networks. It aims to combine the strengths of two prominent modeling frameworks: the interpretability of building physics models and the expressive power of neural networks.
